Most of Gigi’s early career was spent as a secretarial and receptionist support member in
the “Cathy Corporate” world. In 1998 she became an Administrative Assistant/Transaction
Coordinator to one of RE/MAX Preferred’s top producers of Dane County. Over the next 4 years she learned a lot about the real estate world and made many Realtor acquaintances that encouraged her to get her Realtor’s license. Once she accomplished that major achievement, and already knowing so many of her peers at RE/MAX Preferred, she signed on with the brokerage. Gigi achieved sales success and enjoyed selling real estate for over 6 years, but when the real estate market and husbands’ health took a turn for the worse, she took a salaried position. Then news came Now owners, Dan Bertelson & Pam Raschein had purchased the RE/MAX Preferred brokerage. Gigi reached out to them about working at the corporate office, she sent in her resume (lol), and the rest is history. Now almost 9 years at corporate with Pam & Dan, she continues supporting the RE/MAX Agents with their administrative needs and reviewing transactions. Having been in an agent's shoes, she now works vicariously through their experiences and she is proud to be a part of the amazing office support team.
Born and raised in the Fox River Valley area, Gigi married in 1989, to where she followed
her husbands’ career living in both Baltimore and Salt Lake City then back to Wisconsin.
Now widowed, Gigi spends her spare time with close friends, jigsaw puzzles, casino trips
every now-and-then, live concerts, hanging out with her brother up north on 40 acres chopping wood, cooking amazing meals and bird watching.
